Haverhill Goes Green
an Eart Day Fair for the Entire Family!
There will be speakers, vendors, demonstrations, music and more at Winnekinni Castle on Route 110 in Haverhill from Noon to 4:00 PM. The event will focus on how we can take advantage of new green technologies to save money and reduce our carbon footprint. At the event, you will also learn about local farms and the benefits of buying locally-grown food. The event is sponsored by Haverhill's Brightside. We decided to join Brightside, Haverhill in planting 3500 daffodil bulbs in front of Haverhill Stadium. Brightside was recently reorganized and is now headed by our very own Doug Edison. more...

Organizing for America has officially landed in Massachusetts!

Where: Boxford Community Center
4 Elm Street, Boxford
Whether you were active in the campaign or not, the Obama Administration wants your talents, your ideas and your best energies. John Spears, recently named the State Director for Organizing for America (OFA) in Massachusetts, facilitated the discussion and brought us up-to-date on OFA’s upcoming activities here in Massachusetts and beyond -- see below.
