A number of us attended Governor Patrick's Town Hall Meeting in Newburyport. This time, the questions addressed various state and local issues. Two of our own had the opportunity to ask questions and make their feelings known about issues close to their hearts. Additionally, we tried to get people to sign post-card petitions regarding Health Care Reform to be sent to Congresswoman Nikki Tsongas and Senator John Kerry.

Haverhill Celebrates
This year's Fourth of July celebration will be honoring our veterans at the Haverhill Stadium on Lincoln Avemue. Admission to the event will be $1.00 for everyone over six.
There will be plenty of food and activities for children of all ages. The evening will culminate in fireworks at 10:00 PM.

City-wide Curbside Single-Stream Recycling Begins in Haverhill
Put all your recyclables (paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass) into one container and all your other garbage into another.
