There are many activies you can get involved in to help our elderly population: arts and crafts, bingo, music, computer instruction, shopping, driving to and from appointments, becoming a companion for the inbound, delivering meals, etc.

By law, in order to volunteer with the elderly, children, youth, the disabled, the mentally ill, and/or the homeless population, all volunteers are required to consent to a CORI (Criminal Background) check before beginning any volunteer work. It may take from 2 to 4 weeks for the CORI report to come back.
