There are many activies you can get involved in to help
our homeless population: arts and crafts, bingo, music, computer instruction,
driving to and from appointments, preparing and/or serving meals, etc.
Featured Volunteer Experience
Contact Rachel Thompson today if you are interested in the following opportunities:
- Cooking and serving meals at Mitch's Shelter, particularly Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Cleaning, weeding, landscaping, painting around Emmaus properties
- Crafts and games with the guests at Safe Haven
- Collecting donations at the Family Shelter
- Answering phone/door at the Family Shelter on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings
- Collecting weekly donations from local food markets, etc.
- Volunteers willing to lift and transport food donations
- Volunteers to assist in computer and life skills programs

disabled, the mentally ill, and/or the homeless population, all
volunteers are required to consent to a CORI (Criminal Background) check before beginning
any volunteer work. It may take from 2 to 4 weeks for the CORI report to come back.
